| Here is the introduction to the barely known world of score copy. Let us follow the procedure of score copy from the very beginning to the completion, through specialists' jobs. |

1.Planning
Any concerts or television programs start with a plan. Each promoting company or production holds conference to begin with. In the conference, the arranger, the date, the music numbers, the performing orchestra and the place are chosen. We don't participate here yet. After the contents and the schedule for the concert has been decided, the plan really gets moving. Our job begins here, receiving a call from the promoting company, "Please make a score copy." Often, when the due date is close, we start right away, getting the arranged music directly from the arranger who is selected by the production or the television company. In order to prepare the score copy on time, we need to be ready to work with efficient number of staffs even on a holiday. |

2.Receiving the score
"Arranged score is done," we have received a call from the arranger. Mr. Hasegawa, ordered by the manager, Mr. Akaishizawa, goes to pick up the arranged score. We rarely call on the arranger these days, for the facsimile machine and Internet services would do the job instead. |
